Best drink: Razz Beer Float (Feb. 28)
We were amazed that the beer and ice cream combination proved to be so enjoyable.
As a member of the fairer sex, I admit that grabbing a burrito now and again is a definite must, though something I probably shouldn't make a habit of.
Carman's Country Kitchen
1301 S. 11th Street
(215) 339-9613
The sign next to my table at Carman's Country Kitchen, on 11th and Wharton in South Philly, proclaimed that the eatery "put the cunt back in country." The same motto was on the side of the restaurant's pickup truck, parked on the street outside the window.

This is a great way to use any cans of beer that have lingered in your fridge for far too long. Be forewarned: This recipe will not help your quest towards a swimsuit-ready body, so maybe save it for after spring break.

For many of us, beer is something you find in kegs and drink out of red plastic cups. To some, it's the beverage you sip casually over cigars and pretentious conversation.
$10
For breakfast, schlep over to Einstein's for a toasted bagel with some schmear (for all the non-Jews, this is flavored cream cheese), which will run $2.39.
