Streaming is a touchy subject here at Street Music. There are those among us who'll be on Spotify until they die, some who have hopped on the Apple Music bandwagon, and others who have made the switch. Street Beats Paul Litwin and Noah Kest explained the pros and cons of their favorite streaming services.

We’ve all been there at some point: it’s been a wild night out, you’ve picked up and devoured your Allegro/Wawa munchies, and now you need some hazy music while your mind wanders. This playlist has saved me on those nights many times. It’ll probably do the same for you.

Start on the 8th floor. The Fabric Workshop on 12th and Arch encourages a top-down approach for “Louis Kahn: The Power of Architecture," a traveling exhibition on view now through November 5th. But if you decide to start on the main level, and you make it to the far end (many will not—there’s enough fabulous artwork in the gift shop to spend a whole day), you’ll find the last object of the show: a quilt–like, topographical, floor–to–ceiling mural piece.

College movies are, along with rom–coms and sports films, part of the Holy Trinity in the faith of B movie producers or, alternatively, of the triad of predictability for us regular viewers. Inevitably, when most people think of this type of movie, which it’s safe to say has become a genre of its own, the first images that come to mind are debaucherous parties, never–ending sex and a complete disregard for any type of academic matter. Once the script ticks these boxes, all producers have to do is add in a hero, a villain, and a love interest, and link them together with the help of some worn storyline.

Between piano keys sampled in the background, the snare drums that kick in within a few seconds, and the bass that soon after blasts through your speakers, at first listen you would believe Higher Brothers’ “Yahh” to be a Zaytoven–produced track off Migos’ album, Culture. However, once the lyrics start flowing, most people do a double take. That’s mostly due to the fact that while these four rappers rap in a similar fashion to Migos, the Higher Brothers rep Chengdu, China, not Atlanta, Georgia.

Ah, summer. Some of us were off traveling the world and 'gramming the living eff out of it, some of us were kicking it at a fancy shmancy internship, and some of us were bumming it out in recovery from the whirlwind that is a year at Penn. Regardless of what you were doing and where, June and July flew by faster than you ran out of that last final. My point: no matter how much you love your srat or your beach sand, moving back to campus is a little bit of a shock for us all.

Each summer, the quest for finding a summer internship could land Penn students in a whole range of cities. Whether you stay in Philadelphia, find yourself taking part in the Penn exodus to New York City, chase after the San Fran tech gold mine or end up in a different city altogether, you may end up far from home and feeling a bit unfamiliar. An easy way to acclimate yourself to a new place is to do research—not by reading, but by watching. Checking out movies set in your internship cities can serve as one way to explore a new city, learn a bit about its culture and enjoy yourself in the process. Check out Street’s favorite movies set in the cities where you’re spending your summers.

As if you needed another reason to love/appreciate DWP for all that it is, the show’s soundtrack is straight fire. Sam White isn’t the only thing shaking up the radio waves on Dear White People. The Netflix Original series, based on a movie of the same name by Justin Simien, has an incredible soundtrack featuring both household names and hidden gems. Here are Street’s top three favorite tracks.
