Who We Want For Fling 2017

With just four weeks until Fling and the first piece of news about the concert out, we're officially declaring it Fling season. We can't help but wonder: Who will this year's lineup be?

Ahead, Street staffers share their dream Fling headliners.

Bjork, because I would cry real tears. –Nick Joyner, F&TV editor

Childish Gambino. Because he does a little bit of everything so every Penn student would get something out of it.  –Mark Paraskevas, Music Beat

The 1975, because Matt Healy is everything. –Talia Sterman, Music Editor

Anderson .Paak, because he's not super big and probably a realistic price, and his music is pretty happy and also energetic. It's not super in the rap genre or the pop genre or in the alternative genre so it's good for everyone. But we just had a rapper, so I guess they would change things up. –Sofie Praestgaard, Design Director

Me beatboxing for two hours. –Orly Greenberg, Editor–in–Chief

Bruce Springsteen, because I've never been to the Fling concert and he is the only living musical artist I'd pay so much money to see. –Steph Barron, Staff Writer

My dream Fling performer would be having the Beatles be reincarnated and reunited—I don't know if that counts. –Chloe Shakin, Audience Engagement Director
