“Easton & Main” by the Turnpike Troubadours tells the story of a lovesick guy who fell for a girl at Cain’s Ballroom, a popular concert venue in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He croons about seeing a pretty girl in the “artificial moonlight” at Cain’s, and how he regrets leaving his “heart in Tulsa.” The slow, twangy melody evokes a sense of longing and nostalgia as the singer reminisces on that fateful night.
