1. "Click, Click, Click, Click" by Bishop Allen

I've been driving to North Philadelphia a good amount this semester, and I always start my trip with this song. There's nothing better than channeling my inner drummer on the steering wheel at 1:03.

2. "Sleep To Dream" by Fiona Apple
These lyrics are sheer brilliance. And she released this album when she was sixteen. SIXTEEN! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This song lights the fire under my ass to keep up that songwriting muscle so I can one day catch up to a teenage Fiona.

3. "The Wire" by Haim
These sisters are just plain cool. And this song radiates their coolness. So take a listen if you haven't already, cool? Cool.

4. “Stranger To Love” by Charles Perry
Charles Perry. Remember this name because he's about to be mega huge. When he's up on stage at the Grammys, you can enter pretentious hipsterdom and say you knew him before anyone else did. You're welcome.

5. “Dracula” by Bea Miller
You can catch me in my bedroom at any time singing into my hairbrush and head banging like a fool to this song. No shame.

6. FourFiveSeconds by Rihanna ft. Kanye West and Paul McCartney
I think this may have been the only song I listened to over spring break. Doesn't get old. Don't think it ever will.

7. “Boom Clap” by Lennon and Maisey
It's not weird that I want to adopt these girls, is it?

8. “Colour Me In” by Damien Rice
Listen to the sweeping strings at 3:25. If you feel nothing, you're dead inside.

9. “Let That Be Enough” by Switchfoot
This was one of my favorite songs in middle school. I completely forgot about it over the years until a couple of weeks ago, and now I can't stop listening. It's so heartbreaking, and yet through that heartbreak, it so perfectly captures the absolute, all–encompassing, undeniable power of this crazy little thing called love.

10. “Shoop” by Salt-N-Pepa
Because I know every single solitary word to this song. Try me. I dare you.
