Who are you going to be with: The Penn English program is organizing a dinner for us. It’ll be a meal with the other kids in my program and professors and grad students from Penn.
What are you going to eat: I think catered foods like turkey and such. Perhaps they’ll throw in traditional
British roast foods but that might just be wishful thinking on my part.
12. Abby, Junior, College, Abroad in Argentina

Who are you going to be with: The entire program. Out of 100 or so people, I think there are like 20 Penn kids.

to cook all day with our Danish RAs and have a big meal in our dining room.
What are you going to eat: Since turkey isn't easy to come by in Denmark, we're thinking of just cooking a rotisserie chicken with all of the works—cranberry sauce, stuffing, etc. And definitely some sweet potatoes and salads. We're also going to attempt to make mulled wine (hot wine with spices) which is
really big in Denmark this time of year.

20. Rhea, Senior, College, India
Where are you going: I’m going to be spending Thanksgiving in Las Vegas. It’s kind of a tradition with the Indian International students on campus in their senior year. Thanksgiving isn’t a holiday for us, so we might as well use it as an excuse to take advantage of cheaper rates during the holiday time!
Who are you going with: I’m going to be going with my Indian friends from Penn, and the entire Indian international community that is currently 21 in the USA. Literally, it’s like Diwali came late for us, and Indians from every college in the country (and from Canada, and even some studying in the UK) flock to Las Vegas looking for opportunities for alcohol–induced debauchery. It’s amazing.
What are you going to eat: I will probably not be eating turkey…which is kind of a shame, because I always wanted to experience the full Thanksgiving food spread at least once during my time at Penn.
21. Antonia, Senior, College, Sweden
