Dear LaLa,
After a darty on Saturday, I fucked the hottest boy and expected it to be amazing. It was the worst sex of my life...full of friction. Any tips on how to have wetter, better sex?
Love always,

Dear Looking to Get Shamrocked,
I’m sorry St. Patrick didn’t bring you as much luck as he brought me this weekend. Luckily, I have a magical solution for you—lube! Most of us actually aren’t as physically prepared for sex as our bodies would want us to be, especially when alcohol and/or drugs are involved. Lube gives us that little extra something that makes sex so much more enjoyable and pleasurable for both parties. No one likes friction...trust me.
Now, how to add this wonderful product into your sex life? Honestly, you can add a little in a condom so that it’s not dry for him and put it on the outside of his condom so it’s good for you. (Remember to keep it safe!) If you’ve been fucking for a while and start to feel friction, you can add it to your parts or his again—whatever feels right in the moment. It is important to note that water–based lube is most often used for vaginal sex and silicone–based is best for anal, since it lasts longer. If you are feeling super adventurous, you can look into the more exotic lube that has a flavor or particular type of sensation. I personally recommend Trojan Lubricant: Arouses & Intensifies. It’s fucking awesome.
Fortunately, there are several places on campus where you can purchase a wide variety of lube. Both the CVS Pharmacies at 40th and Walnut and 34th and Walnut have a condom and lube section that offers some pretty great merchandise. I really like Wet’s Strawberry Kiwi Intimacy Gel. It tastes so good, I’d give head all day, every day if a boy used it with me. Student Health also hands out six small portable packs of lube about the size of a condom for free when you request a pack of condoms. This comes in handy if you find yourself fucking on the go.
I’ve found that most of my sexual partners don’t have lube around, which is quite unfortunate. It’s not an embarrassing thing to whip out before and/or during sex. Using lube doesn’t make anyone less of a woman or a man. It’s a fucking awesome tool that makes sex even more intense and incredible. Lube it up people.
Cum hither and let’s get it on. Email me your questions asklala@34st.com.
