“SO LONG, SEE YOU TOMORROW”

Bombay Bicycle Club

Do you like straight–ahead pop, rock n’ roll or any other mainstream genres? Then don’t listen to Bombay Bicycle Club’s fourth album, “So Long, See You Tomorrow.” If, however, you are looking for a musical experience that will bombard your senses with funky bass lines and orchestral strings, then let Jack Steadman, frontman/writer/producer, take control of your headphones. As the vocals, harmonies and synths parallel the melodies (check out “Feel”), it’s as if Jack’s voice is simply another instrument and the album is speaking for itself. Title track “So Long, See You Tomorrow” closes the album, culminating the whole effort in a danceable mess of vocals, synths and drums. As the music fades out, the band bids “so long, see you tomorrow,” or until their next musical endeavor.
