First, head to Mood Café (4618 Baltimore Ave). This unique neighborhood staple has a huge menu of Indian snacks. If you’re feeling adventurous, order the Bhel Puri Chaat. It’s a mix of puffed rice, mango, various spices, and a ton of other textures and flavors. For a refreshing beverage, order a lassi in your flavor of choice. If you’re indecisive, Mood Café’s friendly owner will be more than happy to help you out.

Next, walk up to 50th Street, where you’ll find Satellite Café (701 S 50th St). Take your pick from the wide array of vegan baked goods, including a wonderfully undercooked peanut butter cookie, and some amazing brownies. If you’re looking to stay on the healthier side, order one of their awesome kale smoothies.

Still hungry on your way back to campus? Stop by Milk and Honey Market (4435 Baltimore Ave) for some Bassett’s ice cream. They also have great baked goods, prepared foods, and organic produce.

If you start to feel productive during your walk home, grab coffee at Green Line Café (4239 Baltimore Ave), and stay to do some work. Not only is Green Line far more appealing than Van Pelt, but they also don’t have wifi, so you might actually get stuff done.
