The collection focuses on Rembrandt’s representations of Jesus Christ in his artwork and includes 23 paintings, 29 drawings, and nine prints gathered from across the United States and Europe. Robert Linkser: mar de homens (sea of men) 10/28 – 12/9 The University of the Arts, Terra Hall, 211 South Broad Street, 15th Floor Free Brazilian photographer Robert Linkser’s collection documenting the activity of traditional fishing along the Brazilian coastline will debut this Friday at The University of the Arts. The exhibition marks the culmination of Linkser’s The Sea of Men project, which he began in 1997 and covers an astounding amount of ground — ranging from the border with French Guiana in northern Brazil to the state of Rio Grande del Sur, bordering Uruguay in the South. For all you aspiring photographers out there, this is the exhibit of the year.
