The Day Bursar Was Gone

In a quiet college bookstore on a winter’s afternoon: a scream so terrifying the heavens tremble. The store manager senses the worst. He runs, knocking over best–sellers and leaving half–price calendars in his wake. “Murder?" He fears deep in his heart.  No, so much worse. Her Penncard quivering in her hand, the girl murmurs with her last breath, “Gone, Bursar, Gone.”

The Bathroom

The TA
