For those interested in a heart attack or just mild angina: homemade chocolate heaven.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups heavy cream

8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped finely

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 eggs, beaten

Pre-made pie crust

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake the pre-made pie crust for five minutes. In a small saucepan set over low-medium heat on a stove. Bring the cream to a simmer.

Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate is completely incorporated.

Whisk a small amount of the chocolate mixture into the eggs, taking care not to cook the eggs. Transfer the tempered egg mixture back into the chocolate and whisk the mixture until it is smooth.

Pour the chocolate filling into the pastry and bake for 18-25 minutes, until most of the filling is set and only the center jiggles slightly.

Allow the tart to cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Remove the tart and chill in the refrigerator before serving.
