Fishtown Shadfest April 25 Named for a type of fish once plentiful in the Delaware river, Shadfest will be coming to Fishtown in late April. You can snack on Shad fish sandwiches while enjoying live music by Hoots and Hellmouth. There will also be a 5K Shad Run, and prizes will be awarded for the best fish costume.
Eight Days of Eats on South Street April 23 through April 30 For eight days, South Street restaurants and food vendors will offer discounts and dining specials throughout the area. The kickoff party is April 22 from 7-9 p.m. at the Historic Headhouse.
