Well, it’s finally Halloween and we all know what kind of weekend we’re in for — or, if you’re one of the lucky ones with late Thursday classes, what kind of weekend has already started. But whether or not you’ve had a chance to test out your slutty unicorn outfit, we’d like to clue you in on the best way to keep your costume looking new: Tide-to-Go.
Available as a highlighter-sized detergent-dispenser or in an even smaller, lipstick-sized version, this surprisingly functional tool is easy to carry to class (highlighter-size: backpack) or to dinner (lipstick-size: purse). Tide-to-Go has already caught on with many a social circle due to the fact that it actually works — on coffee, fake blood, the wine that you’ve just accidentally spilt all over your date’s bunny costume (to be fair, it was a very small costume) — and that it is extremely easy to use (read: not remotely difficult even when drunk). At about $3 a piece, they are even cheaper when purchased in bulk. Of course, if CVS is too far to walk, you can just order them online from Tide’s interactive Web site (which, fortunately enough, has a tutorial video and a place where you can share your own stories of Tide-to-the-Rescue).
It may be a weekend-long shitshow, but that doesn’t mean that you have to look like one walking home, or that you have to live with stains on your best bustier. When it comes to Tide-to-Go, you can trust it's well worth the price. And, let’s face it, actually doing laundry is for adults.
