Although my love affair with Hemo's chicken cheese steak will never cease, sometimes my stomach demands a break. For a Mediterranean twist that won't stretch my wallet, I rush to Casablanca Food Cart. Hidden between the long lines of Magic Carpet and PhillyMex, a friendly couple whips up their Greek creations with precision and efficiency. The menu is extensive, so the shorter line and quick service might not save time for those decision-weary Quakers. Choosing between any combination of falafel, grilled chicken kabob, zucchini balls or grilled kefta is difficult enough; deciding between the platter, the pita sandwich or the Greek salad adds another element to the mix. No need to fret, though. Any selection will surely satisfy - the platters of couscous and lentil are served steaming hot, the sandwiches are filled with a delicious tomato-cucumber medley and the salads are drenched in a magical concoction of dressings. The mixture of tahini, hot sauce and lord-knows-what-else gives even Hemo's Special Sauce steep competition. If you're not feeling adventurous enough for the grape leave-stuffed pita with feta cheese, stick with the chicken kabob sandwich. Just answer "yes" to any "would you like" questions and your stomach and wallet ($4.75) will thank you. Its unconventional combinations, moderately priced fillers and wide-ranging menu make Casablanca the next must-eat food cart in University City.
