Here's a fresh idea: a Fling concert for 10 bucks, where you can actually drink while watching the show. No, SPEC concert rules haven't changed, but tonight, thanks to Beta Theta Pi, students can kick off Fling (or, more likely, continue it) with a concert by our favorite one-hit-wonder, Afroman. Sure sure, he never made it "big" like some other Fling performers (wait, Gym Class Heroes has more than one hit?), but we're sure he would have, had he not been so busy getting high. So enjoy the show, but be careful not to overdo it. Come Sunday, "because I got high" will not be an acceptable excuse for missing the rest of the Fling festivities.
Also popular this week is Weather.com. During no other weekend is Penn so reliant on the good graces of meteorology to provide us with a cartoon sun and a less than 20% chance of precipitation. So, please, Weather.com (and you too, AccuWeather), at least let us hope - however misguided we may be. Everybody knows you only have an approximately 50% chance of being correct anyway. And besides, we'd rather get our white t-shirts soaked spring break-style than drunkenly lose an unused raincoat in the Quad.
