The flatbreads hold prime real estate in Houston Hall. Displayed prominently behind the glass or cooking to crispy precision in the wood-burning oven, they are by far the most visually appealing option in Houston; monochromatic Indian fare from the Café Spice kiosk just doesn't stand a chance in this contest. With five varieties to choose from - named conveniently for different Philadelphia districts - these flatbreads offer something for all Penn students. Our favorite is the 9th Street flatbread, topped with sun dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, arugula and basil pesto. Also try the flatbread of the month: the West Philly, complete with roasted garlic chicken, mushrooms, mozzarella and provolone cheese. They offer something for vegetarians and meat lovers alike, with other options that include prosciutto and angus beef. The common denominator: who doesn't love a glorified pizza? The toppings may be more creative and the containers biodegradable, but it's essentially the same thin crust you could order at any pizza joint. The clincher: for $5.89 a piece, they're bursar friendly!
