If you're a senior, you probably remember the throngs of people desperate for Fling concert tickets your freshman year. Oh wait, that never happened. Three years of waiting later, and SPEC Concerts has finally done something right, heeding student demands and bringing performers people actually want to see to a venue people actually want to go to. Penn seniors will, after three years of waiting, actually be able to shake those money makers in Franklin Field, just in time for graduation. As for everybody else, the bar for Fling is now set pretty high. Watch out SPEC, this is one standard you don't want to drop.
This past weekend answered the age-old question of what would Penn be like in the absence of our Christian peers. The answer, of course, is that it would be exactly the same, only with a little less Easter candy. Celebrating the holiday (or you know, two guys' birthdays) on campus was the politically incorrect party theme of the week: Agent 9s and Girls Who Make You Resign. Hmm, sounds a little familiar. Future CEOs and sorority girls who dress like hos, anyone? Add some forties and blunts and it's just another night on campus.
