Left Wrist: This astrological tattoo depicts his sign (Aquarius) and his best friend’s (Leo)—who has the identical tat. Added bonus: his mom is a Leo, and her mom is an Aquarius.
Back: Joel always wanted a tattoo from “The Little Prince,” but only intended to get something small. However, his tattoo artist and a friendly onlooker challenged him to “go big or go home.” Hence the mega tattoo on his back, depicting a quote from the fox in the story: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le ceur. L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.” Translation: “One only sees clearly with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eyes.”
