Drink of the Week
Irish Sangria
The summer’s almost over. So you need to finish off whatever Franzia and Banker’s Club Whiskey you’ve got left before you jet off to [insert abroad/beach/Jersey location here]. But the thought of drinking one more cup of those makes you want to puke, right? Well here’s the remedy: the greatest summer drink you wish you’d known how to make since June!

What you need: :
-4 cups Franzia
-”1 cup” whiskey (who are we kidding, just pour it all in there)
-3/4 c. sugar
-1 green apple, thinly sliced
-2 peaches, thinly sliced
-6 clementines, peeled and divided
-1/2 c. OJ
-ginger ale
Mix everything but the ginger ale in a large bowl or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour (the longer you let it chill, the better it gets). Pour over ice and add a splash of ginger ale to each cup before serving. [Ed note: We tried this last week. Drink it like juice. Get silly fast.]
